Registration is now open for the many summer camp programs for kids age six to 16 provided by the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA).

The camps are available at nature centres throughout the watershed, including the  Guelph Lake Nature Centre (Guelph), Rockwood Nature Centre and Belwood Lake fishing camp.

The environmental day camps are designed to introduce children to the wonders of nature while they enjoy fun, hands-on activities in the great outdoors.

There are camps to meet the interests of different age groups on a variety of topics such as survivor camp, art outdoors, naturalist-in-training and ecosystem explorer.

Admission to these programs is free with admission to the park. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration is online at www.grandriver.eventbrite.ca.
