Southern Ontario Youth Theatre Festival pushes boundaries

The Southern Ontario Youth Theatre Festival is an annual celebration of innovative performance, showcasing creative storytelling across Southern Ontario – from as far south as Windsor, east to Niagara Falls, north to Barrie, and everywhere in between.

The 2nd annual festival will be held May 24 and 25, at the Conrad Centre in Kitchener.

It is devoted to pushing social and theatrical boundaries, providing students the unique ability to tell their own stories and audiences the opportunity to ask their own questions – about themselves, the way they live, what moves them and why.

In addition to the 25 performances over two days, students will have the chance to participate in free workshops and conferences led by industry professionals, and to meet and collaborate with students across the province also interested in the performing arts.
