South, Alan Douglas; of R.R. # 3 Palmerston passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, March 21, 2013 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Merle (Parr) South (1996). Dear father of Hal South and Susan Hebel of R.R. # 3 Palmerston, Ian Kirby and Lois Winstock of Toronto. Grandfather of Morgan South and Rebecca Kirby. Remembered by Merle’s family Denise Earle and Mary-Beth Wilson, as well as his many cousins, friends and neighbours. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Sunday Evening, March 24, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service was held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. Spring Interment Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
