GUELPH – A man was arrested after an employee of a social service agency was assaulted last week.
Just after 1pm on Nov. 12, the victim was working at a downtown agency when a client known to him “became agitated and began yelling and swearing … before slamming his hands on a table and then pushing it hard enough that the worker was pinned,” police stated. “The worker was not injured.”
On Nov. 14, a 52-year-old Guelph man was arrested and charged with assault and breaching a probation order. He is to appear in Guelph court on Dec. 30.
