Smith, Donald; It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Donald Smith of Orton, Ontario on September 5, 2012 at the age of 76. Beloved spouse and best friend of JoAnn (nee MacQuillen) for 53 years and cherished father to Darren (Jenny) of Guelph, Gavin (Jenn) of Toronto, Keelan (Ansley) of Toronto and Kirstin (Scott) of Orton. Awesome Grandpa to Sean, Jade, Darby, Tessa, Nicholas and Mkomiika. Dear brother of Robert (Mary) and John (Velma). Self confessed computer geek, Don’s passion from a young age was aviation with Don and JoAnn, long time members of the Brampton Flying Club, spending many happy years with friends flying the skies of North America. Family and friends are welcome to call at Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15 with a service to celebrate Don’s life being held in the chapel at 3:00 p.m., reception to follow.
