Smith, Beryl June; Of Eramosa, joined Gordon, her husband of six decades, on Thursday, February 13, 2014. Born September 3, 1929 in Bolton, Lancashire, UK. Devoted mother of Andrew (Maria), Christopher (Sascha), Stephen (Shelley), Graham, and Mark (Deyna). Loving Nana of Nathan, Ryan, Mike, Julian, Lisa, Rachel, Elspeth, Georgina, Jay, Josh, Brittany, Drew, and Taylyn. Great grandmother of twelve. She survived the Great Depression, World War II, toiletless farm houses, and snow bound gravel roads in rural Ontario with an optimism that infected everyone. She loved her career as the Director of Laboratory Services at the Homewood, gardening, reading, tea, her dogs, and bridge with special friends. She will live in our hearts forever.
