.; The family of Helen Smellie sadly announces her passing at her home in Long Beach California on December 9, 2009 at the age of 76. Lovingly remembered by her brother Bill (Marjorie) Smellie and sister Muriel (Art) of Morrison. Helen will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother and father Ida and Allison Smellie and sister Annie Elizabeth Smellie. Interment took place on December 16, 2009 at Forest Lawn Mortuary Sunnyside, California. A memorial service to share memories of Helen will be held on January 23, 2010 at 2pm at Arthur United Church.
