Skerritt, Gordon - Passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the Wellington Terrace. Loving husband of 55 years to Margaret (nee: Tosh). Cherished dad to Mervin (Marlene) and Linda (James) Downey. Will be deeply missed by grandchildren Craig, Scott, Lisa, Tom, Angie and Robert, and great grandson Owen. Survived by sister in law Alma Skerritt and brother in law Robert Martin. Predeceased by brothers Roy, Howard, Alvin, Norman, and sisters Olive and Jean. Family will receive friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St.S. Fergus, on Friday, July 18 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service to be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, July 19 at 10:30am.
