Skate Canada Mount Forest skaters compete in provincial series
MOUNT FOREST – On Nov. 16 and 17, the adult skaters from Skate Canada Mount Forest competed in the Provincial Series #1 Adult Events Competition in Erin.
In the Bronze Women’s Artistic Class 1 category, Jessica Bickle, left, won a silver medal and Brianna Brown, centre, a fourth-place standing.
In the Bronze Women’s Artistic Class 3, Nicole Maurer-West, right, received a bronze medal.
These athletes, pictured with their coach, Jack Langenhuizen, will compete next at the Adult Nationals in March 2025 in Kanata, Ont.
The women will present a local performance of their solos as part of the club’s up-coming Star Skate Christmas Showcase being held at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex on Dec. 16 at 6:30pm.
