Singer brings anti-bullying message to local schools
A local country singer, who uses his music to help youths tackle the difficult issue of bullying, will make appearances at six Wellington County schools during Anti-bullying Week events.
Ryan Laird, of Belwood, will take his message of perseverance to:
- Victoria Terrace Public School on Nov 15 at 11am;
- St. Mary Catholic in Elora on Nov 15 at 2pm;
- Norwell District Secondary School on Nov. 18 at 9am;
- Centre Wellington District High School on Nov. 20 at 9am;
Arthur Public School on Nov. 21at 9:15am; and
- Erin Public School on Nov. 26 at 11:30am.
“My goal is to inspire these kids to follow their dreams and not let a bully get in their way,” says Laird. “I get my message across through the music.”
