Sing-song days and fingerplays
A six-week music program for children 24 months to five years and their parents/caregivers starts on Oct. 7 at St. John’s Anglican Church hall in Rockwood.
East Wellington Community Services is offering “Sing-Song Days and Fingerplays” which allows participants to sing, bounce, sway and tell stories using their voices, hands and bodies together.
Long before children learn to read a note on a page or play a scale on a musical instrument, they can feel the joy of grooving to a rhythm.
