Simpson, Robert Burton “Burt”; Passed away peacefully at Milton District Hospital with his family by his side on January 8, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his cherished wife of 52 years, Joy (nee McKee); his beloved children, Brenda (Joe) McLean, Ken (Lynda Noyle) and Ron. He was the much-loved grandfather to Dan and Dave McLean and Holly and James Simpson and great-grandfather to Elizabeth, Jeremiah, Hailey and Mason. Burt was predeceased by his parents George & Creta (Corbett) Simpson of The Maples, Orangeville, Ont., his brother George, sisters Marjory Evans and Lucille Turner, brothers-in-law Russell Evans and Clifford Turner and nephew Wayne Turner. Family and friends visited at the J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James Street, Milton, (905) 878-2669 on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Masonic Service took place at 7pm. A funeral service took place on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 11am from the funeral home chapel. Interment followed, Nassagaweya Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
