Silent auction fundraiser supports Minto Arts Council
The Minto Arts Council is holding its annual Christmas Silent Auction from Nov. 12 to Dec. 5. Ladies night is Nov. 18 from 5 to 9 pm.
The show features a great variety of items including one-of-a-kind arts and crafts, pottery, original fine art, framed photographs and jewelry, as well as knitted and crocheted articles.
There will also be many unique Christmas décor items available.
The Silent Auction will also offer gift certificates galore, including golf at Pike Lake, car cleaning and oil changes, bed and breakfast accommodations and massages.
There are often some quirky treasures which make a trip to the gallery on the top floor of the Harriston library (elevator accessible) worthwhile, organizers note.
Hours are: Tuesdays 6 to 8pm; Wednesdays 1 to 3pm and 6 to 8pm; Thursdays 6 to 8pm; Fridays 1 to 6pm; Saturdays 11am to 3pm.
