Sideroad 17 to remain closed until February

ERIN – According to a Town of Erin press release, Sideroad 17 will remain closed until February “due to unforeseen circumstances” related to an ongoing culvert replacement.

The press release states that “unique soil conditions and bedrock in the area” has slowed replacement work. “Local access will be maintained at all times for residents and businesses from either the west, east or north, however, through-access will not be permitted,” the release states. “There will be no access to 8th Line north of Sideroad 17, and road closures signage will remain in place.” The town has established three detour routes with signs posted.
