MOUNT FOREST – Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington is offering people a chance to dispose of their sensitive documents by the box-load.

The organization is hosting a fall “shredding event” on Sept. 14 from 9am to noon at 381 Main St. N. in Mount Forest.

Mobile shredding services will be provided by Wasteco, and the cost is $10 per banker’s box, with all proceeds benefiting Crime Stoppers GW.

Acceptable materials include all kinds of paper, books, photographs, window envelopes, file folders, receipts, staples, paper clips, and even small bulldog clips and soft bindings. You can also shred things like credit cards, ID cards and gift cards.
