SHORT, George William A WWII Veteran passed peacefully on March 16, 2018 at Caressant Care, Arthur. George, in his 100th year was the devoted husband of Florence Short, loving father of Daryle (Gloria), Judy (Henry) and the late Roy (1986). George will be sadly missed by his grandsons Brandon (Ashley) and Darren and great-grandsons Brody and Avery. George was predeceased by his wife Emily (1970). Arrangements entrusted to Butcher Family funeral Home, 5399 Main Street South, Erin where a private family service will be held at a later date followed by burial at Erin Union Cemetery.
