Sherry, Robert Alan

; Suddenly at his home in Elora on March 18th, 2010 at the age of 77 years. Survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Kay.  Loving father of Stephen (Brenda) Sherry of Guelph, Neal Sherry of North Bay, Dianne (Todd) Storey of Milton. Grampa to Kieran, Marcus, Justin and Kalvin  Sherry and Ewan Storey. Brother to Edith Aitken, Nancie McCubbin, Lorna Taylor, all of Scotland. Predeceased by sister Jean Irving and brother Norman Sherry. Survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Sunday, March 21st from 2-4pm. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 22nd, 11:30am at the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 290 Belsyde Ave Fergus. Memorial donations in Alan’s memory can be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fergus.
