SHAFER, Margaret “Peggy” (Aitchison) After a long courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 7, 2018 in her 60th year. Peggy will be missed by her loving husband and best friend John for 35 years. Loving Mother of Mark (Chelsea) and Travis (Brittany). Proud Grandmother of Aubree and Brody. She will be missed by Jeff (Amy) and girls, and Jennifer and girls of Calgary, Alberta. Margaret is the loving daughter of Christine (the late David) and daughter- in- law of the late William and Jean all of Elora. She will be remembered by siblings Wayne (Judy), Grant (Shelley), John (Linda), Eldene (Duane), Rick (Jill) and many nieces, nephews and many friends. Family and friends may gather at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will also be held at a later date.
