SHAFER, Joyce Delores. Passed away peacefully on April 3, 2017. Beloved wife of Brian Shafer for 52 years. Loving mother of Shelley (Dan) Klapwyk and Sonny (Danielle) Shafer. Gramma/Nana to Jaclyn (Brydon), Melissa, Kelsie, Ben and Leah. Special Great Nana to Tatum, Cooper, Ebony and Piper. Joyce is survived by her brothers Ken (Cindy) and Larry (Judy) Stoutenburg and sister-in-law Mary Jean Stoutenburg. She is predeceased by her sister Victoria and brothers Ivan, David, Clifford and Harry. Family and friends may visit at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00pm and on Friday, April 7 from 10:00 to 11:00am. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am in the chapel of the funeral home. Donations may be made in Joyce’s memory to Groves Memorial Community Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Society.
