Sensational Soup Off stirs up funds for local food bank
On Oct. 14, Sensational Elora held its Sensational Soup Off at the Wellington County Museum, with all proceeds going to the food bank. This year 18 “soupers” offered samples of their favourite soups. Everything from an onion soup to a traditional squash soup was on offer, with the competition divided into three categories. This year the winners were (from left): Tonia Cheng from the Elora Brewing Company in the professional category, Georgiamae Jess in the youth category and Susan Taylor in the amateur group.

Soup celebration - What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than to taste different soups on a cool autumn day. On Oct. 14, Sensational Elora held its Sensational Soup Off at the Wellington County Museum, with all proceeds going to the food bank. This year 18 “soupers” offered samples of their favourite soups. Everything from an onion soup to a traditional squash soup was on offer, with the competition divided into three categories.
