Seniors foot care clinic runs April 21
The East Wellington Community Services will be hosting a foot care clinic April 21. The fee is $20.
Keeping an eye on the feet can even give people an early warning about serious health problems such as diabetes, arthritis, nerve damage, and poor blood circulation.
The clinic is by appointment only. Call Pauline at 519-941-9716 to book an appointment. Bring a towel.
A fall-prevention seminar will take place on April 28 from 10am to noon.
Every year, one out of three seniors over the age of 65 will fall. Most occur in the home.
This is a free fall prevention clinic. The seminar is sponsored by Philips Lifeline.
