Seminar on learning disabilities
A Community Awareness Training Seminar at the Christian Reformed Church here is set for March 24 from 7 to 9:30pm.
The seminar will be led by Carol McMulten, a learning disabilities specialist and ADHD, Asperger’s and ABI coach. It will focus on ADHD, LD, NLD, and Asperger’s.
She has directed education and mental health programs in treatment centres and at the University of Guelph, consulting extensively with boards of education, government, and community agencies.
She will address school issues, particularly obtaining an individual education plan (IEP) for a child that works, as well as motivation, family and behavioural issues.
