Selection surpasses what’s on library shelves
Did you know Wellington County Library has 14 library branches across the county, and that our library courier van visits all of them?
That means the collection at your local branch is only a fraction what’s available. With your library card, you can borrow books, magazines, DVDs, board games, video games and systems, parks passes, audio players, and so much more from across the entire library system. To register for a card, come to any library in Wellington County with photo ID and proof of address.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for on the shelves, we have more options. You can suggest that we purchase something or request older items through our Interlibrary Loan (ILLO) system, which sources items from other public libraries in Ontario. Your library staff can assist you in person, over the phone or by email. How much does this service cost you? It’s completely free with your Wellington County library card.
Have grandkids visiting? Not a resident but frequently come to Wellington County? You do not need a library card to spend time at the library or to participate in all-ages programming. For a full list of our upcoming programs and events, check out our online calendar at wellington.ca/LibraryCalendar.
