Seim, Fred – In his 101st year, passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace on Monday, October 3, 2011 with his family at his side. Beloved father of Dr. George Seim and his wife Evy of Fergus, and Dr. Jeanette Lynes and her husband David of Saskatoon, Sask. Also survived by his sister Julia Byers of Hanover, his sister-in-law Doris Foerster of Neustadt, and his brothers-in-law Milton Foerster of Hanover and Paul Foerster of Ayton. Predeceased by his wife Mabel (Foerster) Seim, his wife of 68 years in 2007, by his sister Minnie Fischer and by his infant twin-brother Conrad Seim. Friends may call at the Garrett Funeral Chapel, Neustadt on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held from Trinity Lutheran Church, Ayton on Friday, October 7 at 2pm. Interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Ayton. Memorial donations to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
