ELORA – The Elora Curling Club held its annual Women’s Bonspiel on March 2 with a theme of “Oh, Canada.” Organizers of the event, Darlene Furlong and Lori Skerritt transformed the club into “a sea of red and white,” according to Club officials. The event included a costume contest, Canadian-themed bingo, a DIY Caesar bar, over 20 raffle prizes and lunch and charcuterie prepared by Ross Detweiler and other volunteers. The winning team of the early draw was Team McCabe from Arthur, and Team Wilson from Woodstock/Chinguacousy won the late draw.
