Scott, Karen Louise (Nee Grandy); April 30, 1962 - January 10, 2012 It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Karen after a short but brave battle with cancer. She passed peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on January 10, 2012. Beloved wife of Cameron Scott of Hilton Beach, St. Joseph’s Island for 23 years. Loving mother of Trisha Reed (Chris) Desbarats, Patrick (Nicole) London, David (Joanna) all of Guelph, Joshua (Aimeé) of Fergus, Shawnna of Guelph and Macklan (at home). She was a grandmother who loved all her precious grandchildren. Special daughter of David and Corinne Grandy of Arthur. Beloved sister of Greg (Sherry) of Walkerton and Bill of Toronto. Specially loved by her “Guardian Parents” Peter and Reta Denman. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund - Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario would be appreciated. A memorial service will be arranged at a future date.
