Scholarship available from GRCA foundation

Ap­pli­ca­tions are being accepted until May 31 for the S.C. Johnson environmental scholarship.

This scholarship, worth $1,500, is made available by the Grand River Conservation Foundation to help post-sec­ondary school students conti­nue their studies in conserva­tion and environment related fields. 

Applications are open to full-time students who have completed the third year or sixth semester of an honours program in a watershed uni­ver­sity (Waterloo, Guelph, Laur­ier) or the second year of a three-year program at Cones­toga College. Students must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, in environmental sciences, engineering, chemis­try or manufacturing.
