Schedule changes for Good Friday garbage
All county waste facilities will be closed on Good Friday, which falls on April 2, and they will reopen on April 3 at 8am.
County officials have announced that curb and roadside blue box and user pay garbage in Wellington County will not be collected on Good Friday. That day’s collection has been rescheduled for the following day.
Officials stated in order to ensure pick-up, residents who would normally be served on Fridays should place their blue boxes and their user pay garbage bags at the curb or roadside by 7am.
