. Gloria Schaus the former Gloria Aitken beloved wife of Gary Schaus of Clifford passed away at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton on Thursday March 11, 2010 at the age of 62 years. Dear mother of Heather Schaus of Harriston, Michael Schaus and Tracey and Lisa Schaus all of Clifford. Also survived by her parents Stuart and Eletta Aitken of Ripley, 2 sisters Vera Lappano and Frank of Toronto and Ferne Abell and Wes of Dunkeld, and 2 brothers Bruce Aitken and Kathy of Bracebridge and Clark Aitken and Sue of Ridgetown. Predeceased by an infant son. Friends were received at the Garrett Funeral Chapel in Clifford until noon on Sunday, March 14, 2010 then to St John's Lutheran Church, Clifford for funeral services at 2pm. Interment Clifford Cemetery. Reverend Kurt Reinhardt officiated. The pallbearers were Jeff Schaus, Tim Schaus, Jeff Abell, Wes Abell, Steven Lappano and Jared Aitken. The flower bearers were Angela Schaus, Karen Aitken and Gillian Aitken.
