Save Our Water offers a two hour bus ride touring wells throughout Centre Wellington
Save Our Water is offering a two hour bus ride visiting eight wells, five in Fergus and three in Elora. Stories will be told at each well.
The wells share the aquifer with many private wells in what organizers describe as “an intricate and delicate water system in the township.”
They say attendees will find out about establishing a new well in terms of time and cost.
“Skyrocketing water rates are not what we want to experience here,” organizers state.
The bus leaves the Elora Post office at 2pm on June 16 with a commentary along the way and at each site.
