Now in its third year, the tour consistently sells out, attracting visitors eager to explore local history, arts, culture and innovation, officials say.
Tour groups will travel by bus and depart from either Palmerston, Kenilworth or Hanover at 10am, returning at about 4pm.
The tour includes a full day of food, drinks, activities and surprise gifts that officials say is valued at over $100. Tickets are $40 each plus processing fees. Food, drinks and activities are included.
The tour will take guests behind the scenes of unique destinations, including:
– Lynes Blacksmith Shop, Kenilworth;
– Misty Meadows, Conn;
– Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum;
– Bev Morgan Studio with guest artists, Hanover; and
– Hanover Net-Zero Fire Station, Training Centre and Heritage Display.
Registered participants will receive a detailed itinerary one week before the event.
During the museum stop, participants will hear local musician Ebbony Moroz and enjoy a catered lunch from Dulce Heaven Café & Cones.
“The Saugeen Culture Bus Tour continues to provide a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to experience the remarkable people, places and stories that make our communities special,” organizers say.
“Each year we showcase a new collection of destinations, creating memorable experiences while highlighting the diverse cultural assets found throughout the region.”
