Salter named GRCA rep for another year
Pat Salter will remain the township’s representative on the Grand River Conservation Authority board for another year.
Last month the township received correspondence from GRCA executive assistant Bev Parrott noting Salter’s appointment would expire on Dec. 31.
Parrott noted Wellington North had already named Salter its representative until Dec. 31, 2010 and suggested Mapleton may want to follow suit.
Council unanimously approved a resolution appointing Salter its GRCA representative for 2010. Salter is a former reeve of old Peel township.
