Salem bridge closed until December for repairs
SALEM - Wellington Road 18 (Geddes/Woolwich Street) is closed for repairs to the Salem Bridge from Avruskin Street to Wellington Road 7 until the end of December.
Wellington County announced the road closure as of May 14.
Two detour routes (a passenger vehicle detour route and a commercial truck detour route) are posted at the construction site, as well as at www.wellington.ca, taking the travelling public around the project site.
The passenger vehicle detour route uses David and Irvine Streets.
The commercial truck detour route uses Wellington Roads 7, 17 and Highway 6.
During the closure there will be not access across the bridge.
