The music and life of Roy Orbison will be celebrated in Roy Orbison: Shades of Yesterday a theatrical event presented at the Fergus Grand Theatre on June 11 at 8pm.

Bernie Jessome will star as Roy Orbison. He’s best known for touring internationally with Roy’s brother Sam Orbison in The Roy Orbison Story.

In addition to capturing the trademark look of the “Big O”, Jessome’s vocal range mirrors the remarkable, unmistakable presence of Orbison himself, organizers state.

This unique performance will mix favourite Orbison hits with some interesting and witty dialogue relating to the music legend that Jessome learned while touring with Sam.

Song highlights include Only The Lonely, Running Scared, Sweet Dream Baby, Handle With Care, You Got It and Pretty Woman.

Joe Passion will join Jessome on stage as Jerry Lee Lewis. Passion will perform Jerry Lee Lewis classics including Great Balls of Fire and Whole Lotta Shakin.

Tickets to see Roy Orbison: Shades of Yesterday at the Fergus Grand Theatre on June 11 at 8pm are on sale now for $30 plus HST.

Tickets are available at the theatre box office, by calling the theatre at 519-787-1981 or online at www.FergusGrandTheatre.ca
