Roy, Alton Beverly; Following a long battle with cancer, Alton passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital on December 21, 2007, in his 86th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughter Karen Anne Roy of Fergus. Predeceased by his wife Marion (Holdsworth) in 1989 and his parents Beverly and Vivian (Bent). Alton will sadly missed by his dogs Lucky and Kayla and his cats Mama and Peaches. Alton was a member of the Masonic Lodge since 1940. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Sunday, December 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service was conducted at St. James Anglican Church, 171 Queen St. East in Fergus, on Monday, December 24th at 10:00am, interment to follow at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus.
