; After a brief illness at Hamilton General Hospital, Hamilton on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Casey Rooyakkers of Grand Valley. Dear mother of Dale (Lee) Hillier of Woodsville, Debbie (Harold) Gamble of Cookstown, Randy (Linda) Hillier of Pitt Meadow, B.C. and Justin (Wendy) Hillier of Pefferlaw. Loving grandma Pat of Emma, Brittney, Shailyn, Gavin, Wesley, Joe, James, Evan and Jamie. Also great grandchildren Xavier, Alexander and Rachel. Sadly missed by all the Rooyakkers family. Predeceased by her mother Jean Lyle and brother Bud Mason. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St., Arthur on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Parish prayers were said in the funeral home on Thursday evening at 6:45pm. A Mass of Christian Burial was held from St. John R.C. Church, 131 Georgina St., Arthur on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 10:30am. Father Edward Hinsperger celebrated. Interment St. John R.C. Cemetery, Arthur followed. Remembrances to Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation - CT Scan would be greatly appreciated by the family.
