Romeo and Juliet coming to Guelph Little Theatre
GUELPH - Romeo and Juliet is taking over Guelph Little Theatre this April.
However, it’s not a traditional Romeo and Juliet.
“How about a good story about two young people madly in love,” officials say. “Told to you in a fast, clear, fun style.
“Taking a page from Shakespeare’s Globe this [Romeo and Juliet] will take place ‘Here and Now’ for the audience at hand. Just like it was intended to be.”
Romeo will be played by Julian Murphy and Juliet will be played by Victoria Brown.
The performances will take place from April 4 to 7 and April 11 to 14 at 8pm. On April 7 and 14 there is also a matinee performance at 2pm.
