Roller derby teams ready to smack down in Mount Forest
The Wellington Roller Derby is hosting its 5th annual Winter Wipeout Tournament on May 6 from 8am to 8pm.
Twelve teams from all over Ontario will compete for the title at the Mount Forest Sports Complex.
The teams are:
- Durham Region Roller Derby - Atom Smashers;
- Sarnia Roller Derby - Chinstraps;
- Grey Bruce Roller Derby- Highland Dames;
- Tri-City Roller Derby - Vicious Dishes;
- Peterborough Area Roller Derby - Riverside Riot Squad;
- Royal City Roller Derby - Violet Uprising;
- Royal City Roller Derby - Killer Queens;
- Hamilton Area Roller Derby - Los Conos;
- Northumberland Roller Derby - Ganaraskas Grave Diggers;
- Belleville Roller Derby - Belleville Bombshells;
- Renegade Derby Dames - Bombshell Battalion; and
- Woodstock Roller Derby - Roller Derby Misfits.
Admission is $10 and there will be a beer garden, food, raffles, silent auction, merchandise and vendors.
