Rockwood Terry Fox Run raises over $8,000
Local Terry Fox Run coordinator Steve Thompson said the Sept. 20 event in this community raised about $8,300.
Over 30 participants walked, ran cycled and roller-bladed their way through five and 10km courses, starting from Waterside Park between noon and 2pm.
The run was part of the 35th anniversary of the Terry Fox Run and local donations contributed toward the national goal of $35 million, $1 for each Canadian.
