Rockwood fire department hosts safety workshop

Staying safe - A workshop was held recently at the Rockwood Fire Hall by the Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department to discuss farm safety and industry best practices. Local farmers completed fire extinguisher training and heard guest speaker Malcolm Brown from the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) talk about basic electrical troubleshooting. Walter Grose, left, of Wellington Farm Safety with Fire Prevention Officer Mat Williamson, who spoke about reducing the risk of farm fires.
