Robertson helps Team Ontario earn gold

Fourteen-year-old Puslinch resident Ethan Robertson, front row far left, was selected as one of two goalies for the Bantam Team Ontario Lacrosse team. It marked Robertson’s second appearance as goaltender for Team Ontario, which travelled to British Columbia for the national competition. After huge wins against Team Nova Scotia, Team Saskatchewan, Team Manitoba and Team First Nations, Team Ontario met its match against Team British Columbia. Team Ontario finished in first in the round robin to face Team British Columbia again in the gold medal game. Robertson allowed just one goal against on 19 shots in the gold medal game to help Team Ontario capture the gold medal.         Submitted photo
