River Walk Festival runs June 24 and 25

June 24 is sponsor appreciation night in the Fergus Grand Theatre, beginning at 7pm to kick off the annual RiverWalk.

The evening will begin with art competition presentations followed by a evening of music. Entertainment includes Nick Gush on guitar, Rein Rutnik on harmonica, Peter Pascetta on cajon and the backing vocals of Pam Davies and Tricia Brubacher.

Music starts at 8pm. The event is free and open to all.

On June 25, the Fergus RiverWalk Festival will set up along the Grand River east from Templin Gardens to the parking area behind the library where artists and vendors will set up their booths.

Enjoy free live music in the Fergus Grand Theatre from 10am to 4pm featuring 12 performances by 42 local performers (schedule available at fergusgrandtheatre.ca). The performers will also play outside throughout the day in Templin Gardens (bring chairs and blankets).

Local vendors will have food available and visitors can enjoy a beer while listening to music.

For kids there will be face painting and balloon art from 11:30am to 2:30pm.fergusgrandtheatre.ca
