Right Tree, Right Place workshop

A free workshop on windbreaks, shelterbelts and living snow fences  entitled Right Tree, Right Place – will be held on Nov. 23 in Amaranth Township.

“Now is the time to start planning your planting project for next spring,” said Grand River Conservation Authority forestry specialist Jessica Robbins.  “Join us at the workshop to learn what to plant and where.”

The event will be held from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Amaranth Township Office, downstairs hall at 374028 6th Line. The workshop will address the science behind windbreaks, shelterbelts and living snow fences and explain how and why they work so well.

There is no cost to attend, but preregistration is required.
