RICHARDSON, D. Blaine of Arthur passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, September 3, 2018 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Betty (Checkley)Richardson for 55 years. Dear father of Brenda and Ambrose Brown of Arthur, Deanna and Ron Burns of Arthur, Jim and Joanne Richardson of Delisle, Saskatchewan, Barb and Greg Schinbein of Gowanstown and Bill and Janice Richardson of Arthur. Poppa of Jim and Andrea Brown, Kevin and Sherri Brown, Mark and Cindy Brown and Luke and Lindsay Brown and Kaitlin Brown; Tiffany and Maynard Weber, Justin and Cara Burns; Kelsey and Lee Tollefson, Kyle Richardson; Blake Richardson; Joel, Dylan and Leah Richardson. Great Poppa to his 11 great grandchildren. Brother of Barry and Jane Richardson, Glen Richardson and Gail Richardson. Brother-in-law of Ruth Louttit, Sue Checkley, Lil Henry and Dave, Brenda and Ken Fair, Mary and Jim Martin, Bill and Lorna Checkley and Kate and John Brown. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Ivadell Richardson, sister Ruby Richardson, brothers Willis and Bryan Richardson, his in-laws Wilbert and Jean Checkley and brother-in-law Leslie Checkley, Garnet Louttit and George Henry. The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Rev. Shirl Christian will conduct the Funeral Service in the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in Greenfield Cemetery Arthur.
