Ribfest kicks off four days of fun in Mount Forest
Kickoff - Mount Forest residents dug in to some ribs at the Git Yer Hillbilly On ribfest at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex on July 14. The ribfest, in memory of the late Bill Walker, kicked off four days of the Mount Forest Fireworks Festival. A silent auction raised money to benefit local youth sports, cancer patient services, and the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation. This year, grillers like Bev Wilken, above, had their skills and sauces judged by area mayors Andy Lennox, Gregg Davidson and George Bridge. Photos by Jordan Snobelen
