Renovations continue at municipal office
Centre Wellington Mayor Joanne Ross-Zuj provided a brief update to renovations at the township administrative centre in Elora on June 23.
She noted only one more council meeting (July 2) is set to take place in Aboyne.
During the final stage of renovations, council meetings were relocated to Aboyne Hall at Wellington Place.
“Thanks to the county for making us feel so comfortable and welcome,” said Rpss-Zuj.
The mayor said progress is moving along at the township office.
“The new look is just about there and the accessibility issue is being addressed extremely well.”
Part of that renovation included the replacement of the elevator at the front of the building.
“Things are going as planned, which is great,” Ross-Zuj said.
