REID, Heather Anne - With profound sadness and unbelievable pain we announce the passing of Heather Anne Reid on August 1, 2017, at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Toronto. Heather is the daughter of Marla Brace Reid of Rockwood and the late Tony Reid. She is the best friend, fierce protector and biggest fan of her brother, Ian. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., Waterside Park, Main St., Rockwood followed by a reception at St. John’s Parish Hall, Main St., Rockwood. Heather was a very proud paramedic and worked for the past eleven years at the Canadian Opera Company where she had many wonderful friends. As well as a love of sports, she had a passion for world travel and visited and made friends in many countries over the years. Heather had many causes she felt passionate about. Donations may be made to any of the following: Guelph Wellington Women in Crisis, Red Cross Disaster Relief, Doctors Without Borders, Greenpeace, Amnesty International, Terry Fox Run, Animals Homeward Bound.
