Rego, Maria P.; Passed away peacefully on August 11, 2012 at the Wellington Terrace in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband John in 2007. Maria will be sadly missed by her children Aguinaldo (Katarina), Cesar (Christine) and Diane (Gordon). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Padraig, Matti, Mallory and Fraser. There was a visitation held on Thursday, August 16th, 2012 from 11:30-12:30pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus. A funeral service was held following the visitation at St. Mary the Immaculate Roman Catholic Church, 267 Geddes Street, Elora at 1:00pm. Interment was at St. Mary Immaculate and St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Elora. Memorial donations in Maria’s name may be made to The Wellington Terrace or St. Mary’s Church, Elora.
