Reflections: God’s glory in my world

While my world may at times appear to lack the grandeur of the world described above, there is a magnificence in it that is brought about by the effect of God’s redemptive work in ordinary people and within everyday circumstances. And, while I look forward to being with Christ forever and in a glorified state in Heaven, God, by his Holy Spirit, desires to open doors of revelation to me and to enable me to see his glory – everywhere.

I once sat in wonder and listened to my newfound friend’s account of when he had his first encounter with God’s presence. His life was literally transformed by it, and for the years that I have known him, he has been a constant witness to me of what God can do and what his presence is like. The King of Kings has entered his life and has become Lord of his household.

His story is one among millions within my world of people who are being impacted with the majesty of Christ every day. Remarkable stories about the huge number of Muslims converting to Christianity are emerging daily, and a quick internet search will disclose the fact that many well-known people are also coming to faith in Christ. Here are just a few.
