RC airplane club considered

There has been an increase in use of radio-controlled airplanes and other aerial devices at the Palmerston fairgrounds.

Minto recreation services manager Matt Lubbers reports a community member has suggested forming a club for safety and insurance purposes and entering into an agreement with the town.

Lubbers told Minto Council on Oct. 1 the arrangement would allow for scheduling and prevent conflicts with other activities at the grounds.
